Manager - Building Services Department (12-20 yrs)
Responsibilities:
- Communication between Senior Management and Engineers.
- Develop and grow the current team to meet project commitments and scale up to meet our growing Building Services Opportunities.
- Execute a day to day role as Building Services Engineer on International Projects.
- Understanding the project office Building Services requirements, prepare the hour estimate, plan the work streams, execute the projects to the Project team requirements.
- Recruitment of HVAC/ Utility Design Engineers and Designers to meet the MOE Growth plans and Project Office requirements.
- On Boarding of new hires : Technical Induction / Discipline Training
- Assist in the planning and allocation of resources
- Ensuring Department Design Services are executed in compliance with PM Group's QMS
- Co-ordinate with HR on employee development (appraisals etc.)
Qualifications:
- Ideally a Degree in Engineering with a minimum 12-15 years relevant EPC Project Delivery in the capacity of Building Services Department Manager.
- Experience with Building Services (HVAC) Design / Utiity Design
- Awareness of BMS design
- Demonstrated capability and knowledge of workflows throughout the project lifecycle
- Excellent organisational, collaborative and people skills
- Proven track record in the provision of leadership and mentoring
- Strong commercial focus
- Self Starter and decision maker
- Track record of strong communication skills.
