Manager - Continuous Improvement (6-15 yrs)
- Identify and implement process improvement efforts for Production, planning, dispatch, supply chain and sales function within the Company.
- Create framework and sound process improvement accepted culture.
- Take responsibility and accountability for the successful utilisation and results of the Performance Excellence Management Programme across functions
- Handle team to ensure all deliverable of the CI team
Key Accountabilities :
Strategic Accountabilities :
- Drive long term improvement projects with pre-defined timelines and deliverables
- Ensure that defined systems and processes are operating as per standard. Any deviation should be highlighted in weekly/ monthly management review.
Operations Accountabilities :
- Identify, plan and implement key projects toreduce cost, increase productivity and sales productivity resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for targeting completion of process improvement projects within a specified time frame while achieving a cost reduction and sustainability goal
- Develop and co-ordinate the performance excellence / performance improvement vision and deployment planning as defined by the Continuous Improvement Executives/ Champion &Team
- Achieve buy-in from all decision makers for the successful application of performance excellence / performance improvement. Create team processes for optimising results
- Actively lead projects and provide individual contributions after key projects have been identified
- Liaison with finance and other members of the organization in assessing, tracking and reporting the financial benefit of a Performance Excellence project.
- Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key responsibilities and objectives.
- Preparation of monthly project scorecard reports.
- Training/ workshops to drive cultural change
- Assist the team in conducting root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing/ business and assembly issues, material flow, planning issues, project plans, production capacity, facility design and create process documentation, Sales process
- Overlook and monitor analysis, design, installation and debugging activities performed by team across the various functions.
Maximum Salary Offered - 10 Lakhs per annum
Essential Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University
- Preferable Six sigma green belt/ black belt certified.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, problem solving and analytical skills
- Training in Lean manufacturing principles and Kaizen facilitation
