Manager - Demand Planning - FMCG (5-7 yrs)
A leading FMCG is looking for a National Demand Planning Manager, to be based in Mumbai.
We are looking for talented and experience Supply Chain professionals, who have an in-depth experience in the following:
1. Demand Forecasting
2 .Working with statistical tools, used in demand forecasting and planning
3. Experience working with cross functional teams from Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations etc to accurately predict forecasting and drive improvements in forecasting accuracy
4. Regularly review of sales against forecast
5. Problem identification and making decisions with inputs from business
6. Create and monitor a statistical forecast in SAP or an alternate ERP
7. Monitor Forecast accuracy, highlight deviation to HOD & work on mitigation plan to ensure plans are being met
8. Inventory Management and supply planning assistance
9. Team management experience is a must
An ideal candidate would have the following:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
MBA degree from 2010-2013 batches
- Core experience of 5-7 years of planning in FMCG
- Knowledge of one or more of the major statistical forecasting software packages (i.e. SAP APO, Logility, Manugistics etc). Specific knowledge with SAP desired.
- Expert in Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Access and Excel
- Strong analytical and statistical skills
