Manager - Demand Planning - FMCG/Pharma (10-15 yrs)
Position Purpose
To handle demand planning, finished goods sourcing and inventory management for India Business.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Own the monthly forecasting process.
- Drive monthly S&OP.
- FG requirement planning for 100% imported products portfolio.
- Day to day coordination with global and regional planners for availability management.
- Load planning and shipment consolidations with regional teams.
- Coordination with 3P service provider for custom clearance.
- Custom compliance and providing mandatory documentation to 3P service provider.
- Coordination with labs and central teams for Lab test reports.
- Stock inbound management in coordination with operations team.
- Inventory management.
- Assisting operations team in stock audit and reconciliations.
- Circulating weekly and monthly MIS to internal and external stake holders.
- Work with 3Pl partners for warehousing / transportation and customer order processing (whenever required).
Person Specification
Qualification & experience:
- Over 10 years- experience into demand / supply planning / import sourcing & inventory management.
- MBA (Premium Institute preferred)
Skills:
- FMCG or pharma background.
- Extensive experience in imported products portfolio with high SKU count.
- Well versed with IBP methodology.
- Well versed with quantitative forecasting process's.
- Should have handled material requirement planning (FG or RM/PM)
- Extensive experience in ERP (transactional and planning systems viz; SAP/ SAP-APO/ IBP).
- Experience in implementing planning systems and processes (preferable)
- Should be able to drive process implementations
- High level of business understanding.
- Should have experience of working extensively with 3PL partners managing warehousing / transportation and customer order processing.
