Manager/DGM - Supply Chain/Logistics/Warehousing - Pharma Vertical (7-10 yrs)
Description:
1. Overall execute the set business plan in achieving the desired targets both in business and operations. Deliver the SLAs and KPIs as set for the customers along with the operations & key account management teams.
2. Establish SOPs for managing logistics in the Pharmaceuticals/Healthcare industries.
3. Monitor P&L, KPIs, SLAs and operation issues.
4. Ensure that there is enough customer pipeline to ensure that the set targets are achieved.
5. Suggest and work on new product/service lines which will stand out.
6. Train and mentor the team on the domain and best practices.
Skills/Expertise :
1. Should have prior experience in managing/handling pharma supply chain, logistics, warehousing and transportation including cold supply chain.
2. Good understanding of licenses required such as FSSAI, Drug licenses, etc.
3. Overall good understanding of Pharmaceuticals domain, its supply chain, logistics costs and overall exposure to the requirements of the industry.
4. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Project Management Skills.
5. The candidate should have some commercial understanding and hands-on experience in negotiating with customers/vendors.
6. Should be extremely process oriented and at the same time a go getter and has a hands-on approach to problem solving.
7. Costing exposure and basic knowledge of accounting.
