Ensuring safe and reliable electrical systems operation through preventative maintenance, managing electrical projects, adhering to electrical codes, overseeing budget and staff, identifying and implementing energy efficiency improvements, and responding to electrical emergencies; essentially, maintaining the integrity of the electrical infrastructure within a facility while optimizing efficiency and safety.

1. Preventive Maintenance:

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.

- Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify potential issues before they lead to failures.

2. Troubleshooting and Repair:

- Diagnose electrical faults and perform repairs on various equipment such as motors, generators and control systems.

- Minimize downtime by efficiently resolving electrical issues.

3. Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and electrical codes.

- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments for electrical systems

4. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

- Generate reports on system performance and maintenance metrics

5. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and reducing operational costs.

- Implement best practices and innovative solutions for electrical maintenance.

6. Collaboration:

- Work closely with other engineering teams and departments to coordinate maintenance activities.

- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and operators.

7. Inventory Management:

- Manage spare parts and inventory for electrical maintenance.

- Ensure availability of necessary tools and equipment for maintenance tasks.

8. Project Support:

- Assist in the planning and execution of electrical installation projects.

- Provide input on electrical design and specifications for new systems.
