Basic Candidature :
Job Function : Construction Manager- Kabul
Job Location : KABUL, AFGANISTAN
Fulfillment Requirement : Immediate
Experience : Minimum 10 yrs in Erection testing commissioning of Substation up to 500 KV
Qualification : Bachelor Degree of Electrical Engineer
- Industry Exposure : EPC Company in Power Transmission Line. EHV Substation ( 500 KV)
SPECIAL EXPERIENCE : Proficient knowledge of International Projects.
Language : English (Proficient) both Oral and Written
Interview : Required. Skype/ Face to Face
SALARY : Commensurate with qualification. Experience and as per PREVALENT industry STANDARD
FUNCTION :
- Manages and coordinates all activities for erection of substation equipment and associated civil works as per contract specification.
- Implements the project construction Execution plan. Estimate, plan and instruct staff in the daily, weekly, format.
- Takes actions necessary to meet project budget and schedule requirements.
- Check and validate the quantity of job done at site. Prepare joint measurement sheet and get it signed by client and responsible for subordinates providing the timely tracking information to Project Management.
- Adheres to Safety, Quality, Ethical Standards, Lessons Learned, and Performance Management programs in accordance with Division policies, Standards, Guides, and Contractual commitment. Directly responsible for general knowledge of all disciplines of construction and is able to stand in for each lead discipline. Established the tool trailer list at the onset of the project.
- Maintain Health, Safety environment and quality at site during execution of work and resolves HSE and quality issues at site with the safety and quality managers.
- Further disputes are then deferred to the project field Manager.
- Has the ability to stand in for the project Field manager in his absence. Understands the major commercial Monitors and controls overtime by his subordinates and subcontractors.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Track project milestones and deliverable.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposal, requirement, documentations, and presentations.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractor, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

- Organizational skill and time management.
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Good communication skill in English both oral and writing proficiency
