US based MNC who has its manufacturing facility in Vapi is looking at Manager ETP with 7 to 12 yrs of experience with manufacturing background preferably with paper or packaging industry

Educational qualification:

B. E. [Environmental Engineering.] or M.Sc. [Environmental Science]

Experience:

Must have 7-10 years- experience of operation of Primary ETP (DAF, PDF), Anaerobic Digester,

Aerobic ETP and Sludge dewatering equipment's.

Preferable experience of Paper related industry with exposure to MNC culture .

This position is responsible for providing support to the Waste Water Treatment facility for the plant.

This position will lead the day to day working of the Waste Water Treatment facility -Primary and Secondary, providing necessary leadership for implementation, commissioning and operation of the Primary Treatment, State of the Art Anaerobic and Aerobic biological systems for wastewater treatment and technical support when necessary.

This position is responsible to maintain existing condition of ZERO Liquid Discharge and support Plant for continuous production of paper.

This position is responsible to manage, treat, disposed of all hazardous and non-hazardous waste from clients plant as per required under regulatory requirement.

All aspects related to setting up the procedures and systems for the function as per the requirements given by the business group.

Also this position will play a key role in conceptualizing, designing and executing systems for proper operation.

The key role also includes that the internal and external consumer goals are delivered on time. The internal consumer would be the Paper Manufacturing Machine / Stock Preparation, who would be receiving the Treated Effluent for reuse, since this is a Closed Water loop mill. The external consumer would be the monitoring and Government regulatory authorities, Process and Technology Consultants etc.

The position works closely with the India and US-based waste water experts to not only plan and execute operations and drive quality culture but also help to shape the company's expansion strategy

Key Deliverables:

- Should be able to operate and manage Primary ETP with Dissolved Air Floatation units, Poly Disc Filters and Belt Press operation.

- Should be able to operate 7500 M3/day capacity ETP, operation consisting of Anaerobic Treatment along with Biogas handling system, Activated sludge process ETP; Sludge dewatering equipment -Belt Press unit & Decanters.

- Should have Knowledge and experience of analysis of Waste Water Chemistry; COD; BOD; TDS; TSS; TDVSS; MLSS; MLVSS, VFA etc.

- Should have knowledge and experience of applications of Waste Water Chemicals and lab trials.

- Should have working knowledge of Hazardous & Solid Waste Management and Disposal options and Hazardous Waste Manifest. Handling, segregation; storage and disposal of Hazardous waste generated during different process from all over the company.

- Should have knowledge of trouble shooting in Waste Water Treatment facility.

- Should have working knowledge and exposure to Environment Management System ISO 14001: 2004;

- Should interact with Regulatory bodies like GPCB and CPCB and Local monitoring bodies like Industries Association, if required.

- Should prepare, communicate and maintain daily, Monthly Waste Water Analysis reports.
