Manager - Manufacturing Excellence (8-15 yrs)
- Lead, manage and execute Manufacturing Excellence projects that deliver measurable and sustainable increase in manufacturing efficiency, quality and speed.
- Ensure that lean manufacturing principles are maintained with all projects and that lean manufacturing metrics are continuously tracked.
- Facilitate regularly cross functional events at sourcing location to identify short term, mid term and long term efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Ensure KPI data for automation and other efficiency improvement initiatives is properly tracked and data made available.
- Partner with machine manufacturers and attend industry trade fairs to keep educated on industry technology development which will impact productivity. Transfer knowledge into productivity improvement efforts across responsible factories.
- Assist building platform for knowledge transfer accessible throughout the Group organization and supplier groups. ( training material, news bulletin, etc.; supplier summits, exchange meetings, etc.)
- Collect and document Best Practice Kaizen, communicate throughout the organization.
- Developing six sigma and lean culture in the plant and facilitating breakthrough improvement projects.
- To lead by example by completing self-driven breakthrough improvement projects.
- Design / develop, Enhance and facilitate to implement systems to embrace new Philosophies / concepts
- Leading and driving the TPM functioning at the plant and achieve higher ME levels
- Extensively audit own facilities to assess compliance of the desired and agreed QMS System
- Submission of timely and accurate MIS
- Lead/ Assist in improvement projects (GB,BB, Lean)
- Design and conduct workshops, Impart training on different ME concepts / skills
- Create, adhere, review Plant ME roadmap (short and long term)
Required Candidate :
- Looking for Candidates from Personal Care/Home Care industry.
- Training/Certification in Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma tools.
- 5-8 years industry related experience.
- Operational experience in multinational companies
- Experience in Lean/6 Sigma implementation in the field a plus.
