Manager - New Product Development (7-10 yrs)
Job description:
- Head Engineering & New Product Development
Responsibility :
- To evaluate feasibility of Engineering drawings
- To do costing of New Parts
- To prepare Project Plan for Sample Development & Pilot lot.
- To lead APQP team and develop New Parts as per target dates and get the same approved from Customer.
- To submit PPAP Documents Level-I, II & III.
- To prepare drawings, design & issue Process documents
- To participate & facilitate Fixture Design
- To manage ECN Process
- To design Packaging Standards
- To improve designs of existing products.
- To drive Value Engineering to optimize the Material & Labour cost.
- To prepare FMEA/Control Plan as per Customer requirements.
- To ensure IATF Certification Design Requirements.
- To interact with Customer
- To identify & develop New Business
Deliverables :
- %age New Parts Developed within Lead Time
- New Part Development Revenue
- New Business Revenue
- Cost Savings per year through Value Engineering
- No of Process full proofing
Qualification & Experience :
- An Engineering Graduate from reputed Institute preferred a Mechanical Engineer with 7-10 Years of Experience in Mid/large organization
- Must be Engineering & NPD head minimum for 2-3 Years
- Have Knowledge of Engineering Drawings, Manufacturing Standards Tolerances etc
- Have Knowledge of various RM's & alternates.
- Have Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes CNC, VMC, Grinding, Sheet
Metal Component - Press, Hardening, Plaiting, Welding, etc.
- Have Knowledge of Project Management.
- Have knowledge of Costing Parameters.
