Manager - Operations (3-8 yrs)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. VENDOR AND SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
a. Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
b. Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of critical components.
2. FACTORY OPERATIONS
a. Manage day-to-day factory operations, ensuring smooth manufacturing and assembly processes.
b. Implement and monitor workflows for efficiency, quality, and safety compliance.
3. PROCUREMENT
a. Oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials and equipment for the production line.
b. Ensure timely procurement to meet project timelines and budget constraints.
4. PAYMENTS AND COMPLIANCES
a. Handle vendor payments, invoicing, and adherence to regulatory compliance.
b. Collaborate with finance to maintain seamless payment and documentation processes.
5. HANDLING OPERATIONAL COMPLEXITIES
a. Address day-to-day operational challenges, developing solutions to keep projects on track.
b. Build and refine processes to adapt to the dynamic needs of a growing spacetech startup.
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience
a. 4-5 years in operations or supply chain.
b. Prior experience in procurement and vendor management from manufacturing is highly desirable
