Manager - Operations - Pawarkheda

Responsibilities:

Bulk and ICD Operations

- Monitoring Bulk Commodity receives and dispatches by Rail & Road through manual labours and Wagon Loading/unloading System

- Operations and Handling of Bulk and ICD Rakes.

- Should have the sound knowledge in handling of Agri Commodities and Cement.

- Monitoring and Housekeeping various warehouses

- Rake loading within free time with zero demurrage

- Coordination for Railways / Customs/Clients/CHA/Shipping Lines

- Coordination with Divisional Railways (WCR) for allocation of empty rakes

- Coordination with contractors/Vendors for deployment of resources

- Market Analysis & Customer Analysis

- Competitive Analysis

- Follow-up outstanding receivables

- Cargo reconciliation

- Rail freight calculation

- MIS & Throughput reports

- Monitoring Delivery orders and dispatches through rail / road

- Implementation of SOPs and Gate Operations

Key Skills:

Warehouse Operations:

- Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies

- Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods

- Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met

- Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these

- Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded

- Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

- Brief team leaders daily

- Visit customers to monitor the quality of service they are receiving

- Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems.
