Manager - Operations - Ports (2-6 yrs)

Responsibilities and Duties :

- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent supply of materials.

- Coordinating with freight forwarders to arrange shipping for goods and tracking shipment schedules with carriers to ensure timely delivery.

- Generating necessary documents such as Bills of Entries, draft BLs, COO certificates, Invoices, and Packing Lists, while understanding government reimbursement schemes.

- Staying informed about import/export regulations, particularly in Mundra, and adapting to changes in industry practices to ensure compliance.

- Formulating and executing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs within supply chain operations.

- Collaborating closely with suppliers and Customs House Agents (CHAs) to ensure accurate, comprehensive, and timely completion of all required documentation.

- Proactively managing the clearance and lab testing processes to avoid delays.

- Overseeing the entire shipment process and supply chain activities.

- Providing daily updates to the CEO regarding deployments and collections, while identifying and addressing any potential risks or obstacles that could impact shipping or delivery schedules.

Qualifications :

- Ideally holding a Master's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a relevant field.

- Possessing prior experience in shipping operations and logistics.

- Demonstrating the ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances and make decisions promptly.

- Having strong communication skills to effectively convey information and instructions.

- Willingness to travel to Mundra port or other warehousing locations as necessary.

- Exhibiting strong planning and organizational abilities.
