Manager - Outsourcing - Pharmaceuticals/Biotechnology/Clinical Research (5-10 yrs)
Essential Qualifications :
- BE Chemical & MBA Preferred with 5-10 years of experience in Pharma Industry.
Essential Skills & Experience :
- Knowledge outsourcing/hiring of facilities / contract manufacturing for API & Formulations
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiations skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- MS office (Good in Power Point/ Excel and Word)
- Behavioural : High energy, Integrity.
- Ability to relate to people needs, Good relationship building ability
Key Roles/Responsibilities :
- Identify New Vendor for outsourcing / hiring of facilities / contract manufacturing for API & Formulations vertical keeping in mind long term organizational goals
- Identify and assess New Vendor based on business requirements and prepare financial viability
- Assessment of vendor on technical and commercial and quality, accountable for the Commercial negotiations
- Good knowledge of product costing and negotiation skills .
- Ensuring and achieving the potential saving target in terms of price .
- Ensure necessary quality and EHS audits and compliance in accordance with Corporate and Government regulatory requirements.
- Ability to multi-tasks and prioritize workloads is essential for this role.
- Ensuring timely completion of projects as per timelines
- Interact and maintain smooth working relationships with cross-functional teams of R&D, plant, quality & finance teams and vendor.
- Guiding the plant teams during technology transfer of the products to a new location
- Manage all supply related activities.
- Manage Transfer of processes (Technology Transfer)
- Ensure that the best quality product is received from the vendor.
- Willing to travel frequently to Third party site ( all over India )
- Coordinate with Cross function team for smooth execution of Project at TP
