Manager - Process Control (8-14 yrs)
Nature of experience :
- Should have been leading a team, handling Process function independently in Continuous Process / Resins / Polymers/ Coating/ Technical Textiles.
- EHS, WCM and lean manufacturing, process functions activities.
Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities :
- Stipulation of process parameters to obtain right quality of product at optimum cost
- Custodian for technical specification, developing technical documents as per QMS.
- Process Improvements to improve product consistency & quality
- Optimization of speed & machine utilization
- Carrying out capability studies
- Transfer of technology from affiliate plants into our plant
- Scale up of production from Pilot to bulk lots
- Industrialization of new Products
Technical Competencies :
- Should have experience in Product Development in a Process industry
- Thorough Knowledge in Polymer Chemistry
- Experience in a Research & Development in a process industry.
- Formulation development
- Coating methods
- Strong in-process on-line data acquisition, review & control
- Quality Management System including OHSAS
- Analytical instruments - DSC, FTIR, PSA, SCADA etc
- Statistical analysis, DOE, 7 QC Tools
