Manager - Process Development & Automation

Responsibilities :

Process Development and Automation :

- Designs concepts and platforms, as per requirements to manage and analyze large data sets of product sourcing data efficiently

- Builds models and macro's (Excel) to provide optimum sourcing scenarios, meeting the objectives of the global tail-spend concept

- Maintains or improves existing platforms and models to suit changing business requirements and objectives

- Streamline the connectivity of different data platforms to optimize the access to data

- Solution leadership and development

- Develops a global solution to the automation of regional and site contracts - creation and maintenance.

- Develop and build a maintainable global approval-status database for all raw materials in direct spend

- Excellent problem solving skills (dis-aggregate an issue, identify root cause and recommend solution)

Operational support :

- Manages the global pricing updates, and other master-data requirements centrally to ensure an efficient site solution to PO issue

- Runs models and macros to provide regionally and globally optimized sourcing scenarios for tail-spend

- Generates bespoke reports to support KPI tracking in regions

- Attend selected distributor workshops annually to further extend the application of data to sourcing scenarios

Stakeholder Management :

- Interface with regional operational and strategic sourcing colleagues on a frequent basis

- Clearly understand the requirements of stakeholders, whilst guiding towards a realistic and workable solution

- Provide advanced process and data management consulting on ideas and concepts in direct-spend

Requirements :

Education : Business or IT degree

Experience : Min 5 years in purchasing-/line management/controlling function

- Good knowledge of procurement practices and processes

- Excel, SAP and BW power user, any other system is advantage

- MS Excel and VBA - Specially Excel Formula

- MS Access and VBA - For large dataset and multiuser functionality

- Global Project experience, Lean Sigma qualification is advantage

- Excellent communication skills in English

- Ability to build and maintain relationships and network
