Manager - Process Engineering (5-7 yrs)
Responsibility :
- Assess existing manufacturing technologies or processes in terms of Quality / production costs / output and initiate concepts for an optimized production process flow according lean principles
- Develop new technologies / processes either together with an external partner or internal based on a prior feasibility judgment and simulated economical pay-back considerations.
- Work-out a comprehensive project proposal followed by an alignment with Top-Management.
- Handle all the cross-functional activities as a responsible Project Manager together in a multi-national team.
- Responsible to meet the ambitious targets on time and in the defined budget.
Skills Required :
- Deep understanding of manufacturing technologies like cold-pressing, sintering, welding (e.g. laser welding), painting and automation.
- Strong analytical thinking and capable to optimize a complete production process based on a value stream analysis.
- Experience in Project Management techniques from initial planning till hand-over to production.
- Ability to simulate complex production cost scenarios.
- Excellent in thinking ahead, initiate the right measures and plan for different scenarios.
- Thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements
- Previous hands-on experience on the shop floor in a production environment.

- Strong in crisis management.

Qualification :
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Engineering degree is a must, preferably in Metallurgy, Industrial or Mechanical.
- Experience of value stream mapping.
- Understanding the concepts of Cost Optimization.
- Strong Project Management skills.
- Passion for innovation and process development.
- Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed.
