Manager - Procurement - Infrastructure (1-4 yrs)
Job Description :
- Vendor development for the supply of interiors material-tiles, electrical fixtures/wiring, paint, adhesives, wood, veneer, carpet, glass, etc. This will include supplier identification, sending enquiry and collecting quotation, rate negotiation and comparative statement preparation, delivery timelines discussion, payment terms finalization, etc.
- End to end management of the interiors material suppliers: supply of material as per the specifications and within the timelines, validation of supplier invoices and ensuring the supplier payments are on time, etc.
- Robust experience in managing procurement executives, but should also be comfortable to roll up sleeves and do the executive job himself/herself, till the team is set up.
- Rate analysis of basic interiors raw materials and development of master rate card for all materials
- Generating and releasing PO, with reference to quotation/material indent and sending the same to suppliers and sub-contractors
- Assessment of vendor performance based on parameters like service, quality, delivery, credit terms, etc.
- Coordination with project manager, site supervisor and suppliers
- Preparing project handing over documents and getting project completion certificates from the suppliers-Maintaining the data on a shared file and folder
- Liasoning with finance and accounts department to ensure the payments are released to the vendors as per the supply terms
- Good connects in the interiors industry
