Manager - Procurement & Logistics - Analytical Instruments (6-10 yrs)
Responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of material management, procurement, vendor development and inventory control within the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring the availability of high-quality materials to meet production demands while managing costs and adhering to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish relationships with suppliers specializing in analytical instruments or gas chromatography industry.
- Add new vendors and negotiate procurement contracts, considering factors such as material quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain optimal stock levels of valve materials to support production schedules.
- Utilize forecasting tools and industry knowledge to predict and plan for future material requirements
- Implement and leverage inventory and store management systems tailored to analytical instruments industry.
- Work closely with the production team to understand material needs and ensure alignment with production schedules.
- Analyze costs associated with materials, identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Desired Profile:
- BE Mechanical, Chemical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Metallurgy, or Production
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in analytical instruments or gas chromatography industry.
- In-depth understanding of quality control processes in the context of analytical instruments.
- Experience with ERP systems and other relevant technologies would be an added advantage
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
