Job Description :

Position Overview :

- We seek an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee and streamline our procurement processes in the solar energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment for our solar projects.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Sourcing : Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, components, and equipment required for solar energy projects.

2. Supplier Management : Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers, fostering strong and collaborative partnerships to guarantee a consistent supply of high-quality materials.

3. Cost Optimization : Continuously evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings while maintaining product quality and reliability.

4. Inventory Management : Implement effective inventory management practices to minimize excess or obsolete materials and ensure optimal stock levels.

5. Compliance : Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, including sustainability and environmental requirements.

6. Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

7. Market Analysis : Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to make informed procurement decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.

8. Budget Management : Develop and manage the procurement budget, tracking expenses, and providing regular reports to management.

Qualifications :

1. B. Tech holder with mechanical. A master's degree is a plus.

2. Proven experience as a Procurement Manager, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sectors.

3. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

4. In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and market trends in the solar energy industry.

5. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
