Job Description:
1. Achieve business target
2 Price negotiation for repeat orders with the vendors for better margins.
3 Negotiating with vendors for low MOQs which will help to reduce the inventory holding and carrying costs.
4 Preparation of MIS
5 Product Costing Understanding
6 GTC/NDA Terms Understanding
7 Delivery follow up, arranging the pre-shipment inspection, Post-dispatch shipment document verifications.
8 Coordination and follow up for Shipment
9 Coordination with logistics team to sea/air freight.
10 Facilitate GRN, STO & distribution at store level.
11 Spare part management
12 Payment reconciliation with supplier, Sort out payment issues.
13 C-Form co-ordination with supplier & commercial team
14 Release PO forecast to suppliers for material arrangement
15 Coordination and follow up with forwarder for SO release to vendor
16 Follow up for Shipping documents with vendor.
17 Negotiating with vendors for longer credit periods to obtain to good cash cycle.
18 Prepare LC budgeting for buying
19 Contract terms recovery follow up with supplier (eg Credit note for excess failure)
20 Participate in SCAN meetings with category & inventory team for future orders planning
21 Coordinate with China Office for day to day activities
22 Experience on International Buying.
