Manager - Production (8-14 yrs)
- Responsible for achieving plant productivity by periodically reviewing, analysing and taking appropriate actions by effectively collaborating with cross functional teams.
- Maintain compliance with systems and procedures, company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices. If improvement of safety environment is needed, execute improvement activity by yourself or request concerned section to do the same.
- Check production schedule and actual progress situation, execute necessary measures in case of differences from the plan, and improve plan differences.
- Develop, coach and lead team of production supervisors/line heads towards meeting the department objectives derived from production plan for the year.
- Develop and motivate the sub ordinates (direct workers) to meet and production target in all areas of production.
- Notify management of any issues that may impact shipments, cost, quality, personnel morale or company reputation.
- Keep a good relationship between workers and managers and able to handle day to day issues related to employees.
- Maintain and manage controlled documents obtained in shop floor. (Drawings, work manuals, check sheets and other technical documents)
- Plan and organise man power plan, skill development (Education) and improvement.
- Manage equipment, tools, and consumable items necessary for production activities.
- Execution and management of - Process Change Management- in documents, production equipment, etc.
- Responsible for WIP and shop floor inventory. Conduct stock verification every month and publish report.
- Responsible for maintaining discipline and healthy IR in the shop floor.
- Should have implementation and managing knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO14001 activities related to production.
