Designation : Purchase Manager

Job Location : Pune

Industry Preference : Food & Spices

Experience required : 3-5 years(Purchasing of raw Material)

Expertise in SAP HANA

Job Duties :

- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies

- Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks

- Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors

- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers

- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing

- Track orders and ensure timely delivery

- Review quality of purchased products

- Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases

- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices

- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed

- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage

- Streamline procurement processes

- Authorize and evaluate goods receipt, and ensure adherence to quality

- Analyse market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability

- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment

- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis & managing budgets

Skills Required :

- Prior work experience in a Food & Spice industry

- Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role

- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices

- Hands-on experience with purchasing of Raw materials

- Critical Thinking & Negotiation Skills

- Planning & Organizational Skills

- Tech-Savvy- SAP HANA
