Manager - Purchase - QSR/Food Industry (5-8 yrs)

Procurement Management:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies that are cost-effective and efficient.

2. Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure high-quality goods and services.

3. Maintain a comprehensive database of suppliers and manage supplier relationships.

Inventory Control:

4. Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to maintain stock levels without overstocking.

5. Conduct regular audits of inventory and manage stock transfers between locations.

Cost Management:

6. Analyze market trends to identify changes in demand and pricing.

7. Work with the finance team to prepare and manage budgets for purchasing activities.

8. Seek out cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
 
Quality Assurance:

9. Ensure all purchased goods meet the quality standards of the company.

10.Coordinate with the quality assurance team to resolve any issues related to supplier performance or pro duct quality.

Vendor Management:

11. Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers.

12. Evaluate vendor performance and address any discrepancies in delivery, quality, or pricing.

Compliance and Documentation:

13. Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

14. Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions and provide regular reports to management.

Team Collaboration:

15. Collaborate with operations, finance, and logistics teams to optimize the supply chain.

16. Train and mentor junior staff on procurement processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the QSR or food industry.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.

- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
