Manager QA (Finished Products)

Position Name : Manager QA EPA

Locations : Delhi, Jamshedpur (2 vacancies)

Responsibilities :

To implement robust Quality Assurance system at External Processing agencies (EPAs) of Flat Products and Tubes to ensure the right quality material to be delivered to Customers.

The major focus is on product and process audits to reduce In-house rejection ( Process and Raw Material ) and reducing customer rejection at EPAs.

This is key position which is interfacing with End Customer, PAG, FP planning, M&S, Upstream ( Operations and QA ) to carryout day to day activities.

Key Accountabilities:

- Implement robust Quality Assurance system in EPAs.

- Formulation of Standards/Technical Processing Requirement (TPR) document and conduct product and process audit at EPAs.

- Needs to provide Quality input to the EPAs and Upstream process time to time for Process and Product improvements

- Provide Technical Assistance to EPA QA and Operation team to bridge the knowledge gap .

Note :

Primary Skills : Steel defects and their control, Rolling theory and technology, BOF steel making

Secondary Skills : Customer Interface

Education : B.Tech/B.E.

Branches : Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Production

Experience : 3.00 To 10.00 Years

Requirements : Education Qualification: BE or B.Tech in Metallurgical, Mechanical, Production or Chemical Engineering

Work Experience :

Must have experience in Quality Assurance or Operations or PAG of Flat Products or Tubes or Long Products or Iron making.

Flat Products Service centre experience is desirable.
