Manager - Quality/Food Technologist (8-12 yrs)

Job Profile:
- Reviews all regulatory documents for compliance and communicates them to plant and management.
- Advises plant team on updates to FSSAI rules, FSSC standards, Metrology laws, Food Safety, etc.
- Liaison between the plant and customers for all quality, regulatory and production related issues.
- Monitors and approves quality programs at the plant
- Manage, coordinate all regulatory and customer required lab tests for RM/PM/FG.
- Monitors Product conformance, lab test reports for RM/ PM and FG materials.
- Conduct food safety audits of vendor facility at predetermined intervals
- Manage internal and external audit results (certifications, customers and vendors)
- Monitor, approve documents like SOP, BOM, Item Master, etc. and manage document control system
- Prepare annual budgets for operations & quality department and monitor spend.
- Lead root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions for internal and external quality issues.
- Monitor and validate permanent corrective actions.
- Monitor customer complaints and implement continuous improvements to eliminate recurring complaints.
- Recommend methods for improving product quality, design, best practices or manufacturing processes.
- Monitor performance of mock product recalls
- Monitor and validate all labelling, weights & measurements requirements
- Manage food safety audits using the US FDA, HACCP, OSHA, FSSC Standards
- Assist in procuring required materials for quality and production departments.
- Communicate all required information to management and plant.
