Manager - Safety - Mining Division (12-15 yrs)
Position: Manager - Safety
(For Mining Division)
Candidate must have a Diploma in Mining Engineering with 2nd Class Mining Manager certificates with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the Mining Division.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for minimizing/zero accident to minimize unplanned expenditure on maintenance.
2. Monitoring of PPE implementation at Mines to reduce incidents/accidents to reduce injury.
3. Highlights deviations if any and initiates corrective / preventive action for Safety Violation and compliance as per Safety Health and Environment policy.
4. Provides strategic inputs on mines Safety for the preparation of the annual and monthly Safety Management plan.
5. Ensure adequate supply of PPEs and other safety items for safe work environment.
6. Ensures Safe Mines operation through implementation of SOP, Risk Assessment and Management.
7. Preparation of Annual and Monthly Safety Plan and MIS on Monthly Safety report as per Management Requirement.
8. To ensure all requirements as per compliance manager tool.
9. Maintain all records as per DGMS requirement.
10. Execute and Monitor compliance with the safety, health and environment standards established by the Company.
11. Impart necessary training for people development initiatives and building up of in-house capabilities within team.
