Job Description :
- Liaise with CHAs (Customs House Agents), Freight Forwarders & Transporters.
- Obtain the most competitive air/sea freight rates.
- Plan the most expeditious routing and track all shipments.
- Develop and implement global transportation cost-savings programs for year-over-year savings.
- Produce accurate shipping documentation / Execute required export documentation in various stages of completion.
- Handle freight claims and complaints.
- Liaise to claim export benefits like RoDTEP.
- Manage transportation between indian office, warehouses and CHAs.
- Anticipate and resolve day-to-day issues, complete root cause failure analyses, and take corrective actions.
Requirements :
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in logistics internations exports.
- Knowledge of end-to-end logistics operations (including air/ocean, over-the-road transportation, customs and warehousing)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong Excel skills. Experience of working in Microsoft Teams will be an added advantage.
- Self-motivated and ownership of the position.
