Manager/Senior Manager - Quality Assurance (7-14 yrs)
Must have headed the QA function for at least 3 years
Ensure that the organizations Quality Management System conforms to ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements
1. Ensuring activities are as per QMS requirements in the Plant & other customer specific requirement.
2. Leading and managing a team of Quality Engineers to meet the Quality goals, manage the Quality Assessment and improvement activities. Ensure evaluation and reporting on quality systems.
3. Ensure quality of incoming and outgoing product.
4. SPC analysis & review for Control Rejection and Disturbance.
5. Good documentation (PPAP, FMEA, 8D) and problem solving skills.
6. Work with customers, employees, contractors, and outsourcing firms to meet quality requirements.
7. Initiation of corrective & preventive action related with internal & external nonconforming components.
8. Continuously achieving Manpower efficiency deployed for quality function
9. Monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organizations products
10. Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices such as VMS, Roughness Tester, Profile Projector, Height Gauges, Dial gauges etc
Educational Qualification, experience, skills & knowledge :
1. Engineering graduate preferably in Mechanical field form any Government Engineering college also Schooling in CBSE school preferred
2. Experience of about 10-14 years in inspection, quality assurance, process department etc
3. Ability to deal with and manage local and global customers and suppliers .
4. Knowledge of manufacturing processes on CNC Lathes, VMC, HT etc and having good problem solving skills
5. Computer skills and experience of working in an ERP / SAP environment
6. Knowledge of diverse commodities in the engineering industry.
