Interface of the engineering with the Sales, customer and Plant

- Analyzing market request to address new products, definition and development. - Customer Meeting.

- In collaboration with Strategic Marketing & Product Planning defining the product-range / application plan for the products group assigned - Product Range Definition

- Translating customer's requests into products specs optimizing the use of standard and tested solution- Application Proposals, proto drawing release and follow up to production release.

- Technical responsibility of all projects assigned to the platform: Layout Design, Calculation, FEA, Gear Calculations, preparing the design Validation Plan. Assuring the achievement of costs, time and quality objectives for the assigned products/projects,: Follow meeting and working closely with Program management team.

- Managing a dedicated team and interface with Competencies, Systems and Testing to increase products competitiveness and reliability: Team Building and Team management.

- Developing all the applications projects related to assigned products (Class A,B,C) and new Developments Class D Projects : Developing New product with full responsibility of, cost, time line targets, testing up to release for production

- Assuring engineering and designing support to other functions like Producion, Purchase, Quality, Marketing & Sales, Service

Perform design calculation, feasibility study, Integration of sub-systems using 3D soft ware Pro-e

- Coordinate calculation and simulation activities (FEM analysis), if necessary

- Issue of the prototype BOM

- Development of components & assembly drawings and classification of the key characteristics

- Issue of the drawings for the prototypes according to the plan.

- Complete the technical drawings and manage CAD data on PLM,

- Work with project leaders to complete the technical specifications of the project.

Achieve the time line to release the drawings for production and prototyping

- Product maintenance activities, ECR & ECO

- Participate in Design FMEA
