Manager/Sr. Manager - VI & Pkg/Filling Process Engineering Expert (10-15 yrs)
Responsible for the provision of a professional, compliant and performance-oriented technical service within his process area
Responsible to guaranty availability of equipment with the appropriate level of quality, safety and performance
Ensure the technical quality of equipment engineering design and deliverables including industrial performance from the project phase and support operational excellence.
Develop and maintain a solid working relationship with engineering & dotted like working with manufacturing operations
Single point contact with OEM vendors
Work closely with methods management team for preventive maintenance, outsourced team management
Utilize global expertise in the designing operational process
Ensure equipment engineering competencies remain current with respect to manufacturing technologies
The role is also responsible to provide technical process engineering expertise to the manufacturing site.
Utilize and enhance equipment standards data base and maintain.
Must have the ability to understand manufacturing systems at all sites in global networks
Ensure maintenance team is well trained and has the appropriate knowledge to run preventive and curative maintenance on the equipment
Responsible for developing and supporting the team of internal and external equipment engineering resources, and working collaboratively with team members, capital project team members, and internal and external partners.
Determine the equipment engineering resource requirements, support resource development in area of equipment engineering.
Ensure specific training requirements are satisfied.
Provides mentoring and coaching to less experienced staff in developing high quality technical deliverables according to global engineering guide lines & practices with in network.
Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 10 - 15 years of experience in applied equipment engineering and project experience are required
Experience with Isolators, dry and/or moist heat sterilization, machine design and motion control required
Additional experience in process design, equipment start-up, qualification and/or validation is preferred
Project leadership and management of support staff / contractors, preferably in a GMP setting is preferred.
Knowledge and experience in Pharma Automatic Inspection, Blister Packing & Integrated automated packing Technology industry is essential.
Individual must have working knowledge of equipment typically used in sterile injectable manufacturing, filling and packaging.
Knowledge of clean utility design such as HVAC, WFI, clean steam and clean air systems is desirable
Must understand the relationship between Good Manufacturing Practices, industry standards and their application to the manufacturing process
Ability to organize, lead and effectively communicate with internal and external team members is essential
This position requires strong analytical skills, hands-on troubleshooting skills and the capability to utilize AutoCAD, analysis software and company quality system software.
