Role of Structural Design Manager.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in civil/ Structural Engineering

Experience: 7-10 years in structural design of residential buildings

Location: Mumbai

The candidate will be handling PAN India projects as per work assigned. He will be coordinating with structural consultants and site team for various structural design related works.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review structural DBR, design and details provided by Structural Consultants at various stages of design.

- Work out material coefficients/ consumptions for new developments.

- Work out comparative study of various framing systems/ construction systems for most cost-effective solution for the building.

- Coordinate with cross functional stakeholders.

- Coordinate with site team and ensure all the required structural data is available with site for unhindered execution.

- Suggest optimisation method by internal peer review.

- Design temporary structures as required by site.

- Assist in resolving RFIs received from site.

- Visit sites Pan India on periodical basis and share visit report.

- Maintaining internal documentation process for structural engineering deliverables from consultants and internal documents, calculations, soil reports, shop drawings etc.

- Providing Project updates and preparation of various MIS presentations, Reports regarding structural engineering aspect to the reporting manager

Technical Competencies:

- Should be proficient in working on analytical and design programs such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD

- Should be proficient in using CADD and Revit (BIM)

- Should be proficient with Indian Standard Design codes.

- Should have good communication and writing skills.

- Should have experience in design and detail of high-rise buildings

- Candidate with experience in Real Estate industry of similar profile will have preference
