Role- Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities :

The Supply Chain Manager will play pivotal role in conceptualizing and executing the projects in the area of logistics and distribution efficiency improvements and service level enhancements to the customer .

Some of the key responsibilities are as follows:

- Conceptualization and implementation of projects for logistics cost reduction, including but not limited to - Routes optimization, best price discovery of transportation etc.

- Design of S&OP process and roll out.

- Drive data-led analytics in supply-chain

- Modernize operations across transportation and warehousing and drive innovations (e.g. cross industry collaboration)

- Help in long term capacity planning, considering overall strategy, and long term demand-supply profile

- Inventory optimization for value added products

- Minimize wastage/leakages during transportation

- Ensure freshness of the product during transportation

- Being a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Supply chain for cross functional initiatives, for e.g. new RTM design

Requirements :

MBA in SCM / Operations from reputed institutes with 3 - 5 years of post MBA work experience in B2C Supply Chain is preferable

- Hands on experience in logistics and distribution efficiency improvement incl. transportation

- Strong understanding of ground level distribution and transportation issues incl. negotiations.

- Proven expertise in driving innovations in logistics sourcing including collaborative optimizations with suppliers

- Strong negotiation skills including understanding of key cost components and drivers

- Advanced analytical skills (to be well versed with excel)

- Good interpersonal skills including experience in driving large scale change management and implementation

- Willing to travel extensively across the country

- Prior exposure to food/dairy industry preferred, but not mandatory
