Manager - Tyre Engineer - PCR/UVR (3-5 yrs)
Job Profile
PROCESS & PRODUCT :
- Release of new products ( NPD ) as per time line- Industrialization of new product and process
- Preparation, issue and control of specification in the UVR line
- System implementation, monitoring and control.
- Review of key product and process parameters and initiate actions
- Generate quality improvement projects to improve the product performance and process efficiencies.
TECHNICAL ECONOMY:
- Product specification optimization in the designated area
CLAIMS & LOSSES:
- Monitor products in order to bring in continuous improvement, and keep claims and losses to a minimum
TECHNICAL & QUALITY TASKS:
- Provide technical know-how and inputs to the designated section
- Conduct field visits to monitor performance and customer feedback
- Knowledge of analytical tools for data analysis & should retrieve the claim /defect or any statistical data available in the system.
- Sound knowledge of heat engineering i.e. to perform the thermocouple study and decide on cure cycles.
- Proficiency in Tyre Manufacturing Technology (Capable)
- Technical knowhow & ability in tyre designs, production processes, systems, layout plans and quality measure
- Proficiency in Plant systems & processes (Foundational)
- Ability to understand & implement 5S, safety practices, production best practices, QBM and other contemporary systems & process.)

- Knowhow on organisation mission, Code of conduct, product SKUs, accountabilities w.r.t market scenario & competition & ability to apply in one's role, profitability
