Manager - Vehicle Dynamics

Job Description :

- To handle product validation functions through proper test methodology and establish the product requirements are met before releasing/submitting to the market/OE, This will be carried out on test cars and SUVs on various test tracks.

Key Responsibilities :

- All the new product development in passenger segment has to tested and cleared for ride and handling.

- Plan, organize and conduct tests at various tracks in India and abroad

- Develop tyre test capabilities on the vehicle with safety on tracks/Roads

- Develop good driving skills and evaluation skills

- Ascertain the subject type evaluation feelings and translate it to designers language

- Get calibrated by OE consultants & international training agencies on vehicle dynamics

- Develop the objective measurements in noise and ride and handling

- Procure the latest instrumentation for vehicle testing and utilize it to improve tyre performance

- Conduct tests as per OE test requirements and procedures.

- Handle the joint evaluation with OE

- Conduct studies on influence of various changes on construction and compound

- Develop the Sensitivity towards the noise and ride issues.

- Should be capable of driving different range of cars from A to E class

- Conduct joint tests with the OEs

- Set up test support facilities near the track

- Develop expertise in two wheeler testing

- Develop problem solving skills on tyre related issues on vehicles

- Start working on the vehicle dynamics simulation packages
