Material Planner - Inventory Management (5-10 yrs)

Job Responsibilities :
1. Supplier Management :
a. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring clear communication channels and prompt issue resolution
b. Collaborate with suppliers to develop and execute supplier agreements, including pricing, lead times, and quality standards.
2. Material Planning and Inventory Management:
a. Analyze production requirements, sales forecasts, and historical data to determine optimal inventory levels.
b. Coordinate with suppliers to schedule deliveries, manage lead times, and monitor production-related constraints.
c. Optimize inventory levels by implementing efficient inventory management strategies.
d. Continuously monitor and analyze supply chain processes, identifying opportunities for improvement in terms of cost, quality, and lead time.
e. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, IT, and logistics, to implement process enhancements.
f. Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as supplier capacity constraints or transportation disruptions.
3. Compliance and Documentation:
a. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and procurement policies.
b. Maintain accurate documentation related to material orders and supplier contracts.
c. Periodic prepare suppliers' delivery performance reports, and coordinate with the purchasing team to keep continuous improvement.
d. Collaborate with the procurement team to conduct supplier audits, monitor compliance, and address any non-compliance issues.
e. Maintain correct material master data in SAP and should have a complete understanding of the logic behind it.
4. Additional responsibilities :
a. Comply with company EHS rules
b. Other jobs assigned by the manager
Minimum Qualifications :
1. Analytical skills
2. Familiar with the SAP MM module
3. Result-driven attitude when solving related problems.
4. Good communication skills
5. MRP logic/ CPIM is preferred
