Educational qualification(s) required and Nos. Of year of experience expected - BE/ME(Mechanical ),

( 3-10 ) year of experience)

Experience expectation:

- Min 5 year experience in design and development of components or sub system for circuit breaker products (MCB, MCCB or ACB). Good experience in Mechatronics product/electro mechanical domain product designs

- Application of engineering fundamentals in design, hands on experience in engineering calculations, tolerance stack up analysis etc..

- Proficient in making 3D models, 2D drawings and assy. Drawings using PRO-e /CREO and wind-chill.

- Good understanding on pro-motion simulation,. Exposure to ANSYS Structural and Thermal simulation will be added advantage.

- Good understanding of the geometric dimensioning and tolerance standard.

- Knowledge and comply to engineering change management process, NPI toll gates, design review and approvals.

- Proficient of selection of plastic/metal material as per functional and standard requirement.

- Proficient in plastic and sheet metal component design and assembly integration

- Good understanding of Press tools and plastic moulds and manufacturing process

- Knowledge of Various process such as Six sigma tools . DFM, FMEA, PFMEA etc.

Responsibility - Design and development of components/sub-system for circuit breaker using the CAD software such as PRO-E Creo

- Build New idea and design concepts

- Ensure the design are robust and meet the product specification requirements with engineering calculation and methodical approach.

- Design review and design optimization to achieve the cost target.

- Organize and participate DFMEA and implement the outcome of the same in the Design

- Understand the Regulatory standard/ customer requirement and convert these requirement in the product /component design

- Interact with ID team product design during new product development

- Component development/release support

- Implement the six sigma and Pokayoka approach in the design,

- Competitor product benchmarking and Data Analysis
