Primary Responsibility : 

1. Interfaces with Engineering functions to coordinate the Engineering changes or/and product improvements. On Module/Product on PLC/CIP Program.

2. Responsible to update 3D CAD, drawings and BoM for all impacted kits in the ECR using Inventor

3. Supports Engineering function with release of new kits (as reqd)

4. Maintain complete trackers for all ECRs and publish daily/weekly reports for all ECRs being released.

5. Create new OEM parts based on inputs form Eng and TDS from the supplier with accurate 3D model information.

6. Update SAP attributes as needed for released/up-revised parts/kits.

Other Responsibilities : 

1. Create BKMs for all team members to efficiently perform their tasks.

2. Mentor new joinees and train them to efficiently perform primary responsibilities.

3. Perform other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project in progress and/or the specific goals of the department in which the incumbent works.

Job Specific skills/Knowledge : 

- 3-5 Years

(Mandatory atleast 4-5 skills) : 

1. Requires demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing engineering discipline, theories, practices, and principles.

2. Requires demonstrated knowledge of Engineer Design, standard design practices and DFM/P knowledge

3. Product structure, bill of materials, product safety requirements, material handling, and root cause analysis.

4. Min. 3 Years of hands-on experience on Autodesk Inventor.

5. Working experience in interpreting manufacturing drawings with complex GD&T requirements.

6. Requires knowledge necessary to perform the job function such as an understanding of the engineering processes, DFx (Design for Excellence) engineering principles, value engineering, Producibility/manufacturability analysis, test & tooling

7. Experience in handling Supplier problems and root cause analysis for short term & long-term corrective action.

8. Experience in Teamcenter recommended.

9. Experience in understanding basic function of an ERP systems preferably SAP & apply them to perform activities efficiently.

10. Very good communication & interpersonal skills in collaborating with various stakeholders in and outside.

2. Requires strong skills in Product technology, change management, problem solving, communication skills, customer orientation, personal effectiveness, team skills, and quality.

3. Must be able to manage dynamic priorities.

Education and Experience : 

- 3-5 Years of work Experience in the relevant Industry.

- Bachelor's or Equivalent degree in mechanical/manufacturing or Equivalent.
