Mechanical Design Engineer (5-10 yrs)
- Design components & complex assemblies documenting them with drawings using Creo, SP documents, ECNs, and MS drawings as required. Follow established document control procedures. Make sure ISRs, PPAPs are done on new/revised parts.
- Plans effective component level experimentation to verify and validate engineering designs to product requirements. Capable of designing unique R&D tests.
- Develop and document engineering specifications and material requirements as required.
- Process ECNs. Follow established document control procedures. Make sure ISRs, PPAPs are done on new/revised parts.
- Produce detailed engineering reports including verification testing & qualification testing.
- Ability to analyze and resolve quality issues and problems using established tools and methods across cross functional teams. (i.e. fault tree analysis, fishbone analysis, DOE etc).
- Leads other engineers in major development projects makes work assignments and follow up on work content. Instructs junior engineers on process and problem solving. Instruct entry level engineers on process(es).
