Mechanical Design Engineer - SolidWorks - Medical Equipment (3-6 yrs)
We are seeking a talented Design Engineer with proficiency in SolidWorks to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems to meet the needs of our clients and projects.
- Key Responsibilities- :
- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
- Create and revise mechanical designs based on project specifications and requirements.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to ensure designs meet performance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare technical documentation, including BOMs, assembly instructions, and maintenance manuals.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve design quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in design techniques and tools.
- Qualifications- :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, with a strong emphasis on using SolidWorks.
- Proficiency in creating complex 3D models and 2D drawings.
- Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and other simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Preferred Skills- :
- Experience in the Medical, automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics industries.
- Knowledge of PDM (Product Data Management) systems.
- Certification in SolidWorks (CSWP or CSWE).
