Mechanical Engineer - Aircraft Structures and Mechanical Systems (3-10 yrs)
1. JOB DESCRIPTION OF MECHANICAL ENGINEER :
- Design of Aircraft Structures and Mechanical Systems (Composites, Machined, Sheet Metal)Concept Design Detail Design Manufacturing Drawing Creation (of Parts & Assemblies)
- Reviews and value adds to Customer requirements and technical drawings
- Interacts with customer and vendors to brief the details / changes to the details of the Engineering drawing
- Prepares Engineering documentation as per AS9100 standards
- Builds, maintains and deploys product Test plan for certification and compliance purposes
- Ensures timely and accurate documentation of all data in appropriate mediums
- Coordinates with production team to ensure accurate and efficient production of customer designs
- The ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics typical of the industry
- Utilize standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and test rigs
2. COMPETENCIES:-
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong PC skills (Excel, Access, Word, Acrobat, Power point, AutoCAD - ) and the ability to learn and apply new software methods as required.
