Battery Mechanical engineer :
Education : BE/BTech/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical
Experience : 3+ years in building battery or equivalent
Keywords : Mechanical Packaging, Thermal of Packaging Design, Vibration Analysis
Role : Responsible for building the battery, and taking care of the Mechanical and Thermal Packaging of cells and electronics inside the battery
Job Description :
The role will involve developing the battery packaging, which is the battery enclosure, fixtures and thermal packaging.
- A high quality battery solution is to be designed by applying best design practices, such as DFMEA, DFX, DOE and statistical tolerance techniques.
- This engineer will have a strong understanding of mech CAD tools and design, and also have exposure to building thermal solutions for high power electronics, as well as design for vibration and water-proofing.
- The engineer will generate detailed component and assembly drawings, support in making validation plans, and transfer the design to manufacturing.
