Mechanical/HVAC Design Engineer - Data Center (8-12 yrs)
Role Description :
- Responsible to design the HVAC and Mechanical works of Data center
Major Work Responsibilities :
- Design & Preparing the drawings for HVAC/Mechanical works in adherence to ASHRAE, IS & International codes
- Preparation of load calculation and arrive on the sizing of the HVAC equipment
- Preparation of CFD analysis
- Designing of plumbing, firefighting systems.
- Preparing all equipment and HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting tender BOQ's with all technical specifications
- Ensure that the queries and concerns raised by contractors regarding project execution, quality standards and safety, material delivery etc. are resolved in a timely manner
- Provide daily updates to Design Manager on the status of the progress in the area supervised
Job prerequisites :
- 8 to 12 years of experience in HVAC and Mechanical design works.
- Preparing the CFD Analysis, Heat load calculations
- Experience in design best ikW large scale chiller plants
- Should have sound knowledge on TIA - 942 and UPTIME standards
- Should sound knowledge on PAHU/PAC
- Should have experience in firefighting, Gas suppression systems(GSS) and plumbing design works,
- Experience in data center designs
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- B.Tech./B.E. degree in Mechanical stream or equivalent technical training
- Should have experience in AUTO CAD, REVIT
