Mechanical Operations Incharge - Chemical Industry (8-12 yrs)
Job Requirements : BE/B.Tech (Mechanical) with min. 8 years of experience from Chemical Industry.
Job Purpose : To ensure the smooth operation and execution of all the line maintenance,overhaul,change and repair activities/jobs/tasks in accordance to the laid processes and systems, monitor and coordinate the asset management process in relation to it and accountable for closure of all work permits issued thereby
Key Responsibilities :
- Initiate work permit issuance process
- Performs JSA pertaining to the task and gets it duly validated from safety officer/in charge
- Ensure on field closure of the permit issued by performing all the necessary checks as prescribed against the permit closure process
- Ensure the execution of all necessary practices and maintenance and repair related activities pertaining to the job in accordance to the prescribed SMP
- Check the daily SAP notifications and update against all job works done or in progress or to be initiated
- Initiate job planning meeting and discuss the action plan with the concerned/accountable persons pertaining to all the repair and maintenance as well as preventive maintenance tasks needed to be carried out
- Plan all the jobs needed to be carried out based on priority
- Assign or allocate the planned new job/task to the contractors or technicians as per the job work requisitions received from field
- Log the activity report against all on field permit closures in SAP and close the service notifications
- Create material indent in SAP for items to be issued from engineering stores required for different ongoing operation and maintenance jobs
- Follow Up with engineering purchase,engineering stores for materials and logistics related updates
- Ensure that the work permit is issued for the job to be initiated and get the clearance against the raised objection and mitigate the same if there is any.
