JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Embedded Hardware Engineer

Experience Level: 2 Years and above

Location: Chennai

Department: Technical R&D

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hardware Design: Design, develop, and implement embedded hardware systems, including microcontrollers, sensors, and communication modules.

2. Circuit Design: Create detailed circuit schematics using industry-standard design tools.

3. Prototyping: Build and test prototypes to validate hardware design and functionality.

4. Debugging and Testing: Perform hardware debugging, troubleshooting, and testing to ensure reliability and performance.

5. Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation for hardware designs, specifications, and test procedures.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate hardware and software components.

7. Compliance: Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

8. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve hardware design processes.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in embedded hardware design and development.

3. Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in designing with microcontroller.

- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g., KiCad, Altium, Eagle).

- Knowledge of embedded system design and integration.

- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).

- Understanding of signal integrity and power management in embedded systems.

- Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, Multimeters, logic analyzers).

4. Soft Skills:

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Attention to detail in the given requirements and tasks.

- Team Management and strong organizational skills.

5. Additional Skills (Preferred):

- Knowledge of software development for embedded systems (e.g., embedded C, Python programming).
