MEP Engineer - Fire Fighting/Building Material (8-13 yrs)
- The incumbent is responsible for installation and execution of Plumbing, firefighting, gas reticulation works and installation of elevators, certification of bills of all respective contractors, coordinating of civil and finishing contractors, procurement of material as per specification, quality verifications and assurance of safety concern and Testing and commissioning of plumbing, fire fighting and gas reticulation equipments involved in residential high rise buildings of more than 30 floors.
Key Accountabilities :
- Execution of Plumbing, fire fighting, gas reticulation works and installation of elevators.
- Co-ordindation of civil and finishing contractors for all MEP issues.
- Arranging Materials, contractors as and when required at site.
- Attending Project meetings to make sure that all works assigned are executed according to master schedule.
- Review drawings and customization as per customer requirement and implement during execution at site.
- To follow up with contractor for materials and manpower for execution of work as per schedule & communication the same. Coordinating with civil team for completion of respective works
- Bill certification of respective Contractors.
- Contractor management and contractor development to support for execution.
- Quality verification and assurance, quality check list of all MEP works. Ensure safety during Execution of MEP works.
- Handing over of services after Testing and commissioning to the concerned by proper documentation and as-built drawings.
- Should follow the Vision, Mission & Values of the company in true spirit and ensure that team members also follow the same.
Qualifications, Experience & Competencies :
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Mechanical with 08-10 years of Experience in residential projects.
- Knowledge and Skills Areas: Analyzing, Reviewing and visualizing Drawings
- Good Knowledge of MEP system design and Engineering specifications and norms (industry standards).
- Contractor management and Execution of Projects with leadership qualities.
- Communication and Co-ordination with various levels.
- Go-getter attitude with strong positive attitude in work.
- Should be a good team leader.
- Should have good interpersonal skills.
- Should be computer literate.
- Budget : 8- 10 lakhs pa
