Logistics Manager is responsible for leading and managing end to end Logistics operations of Microtek LED business with respect to inbound materials/goods received from vendor premises and outbound deliveries made to distributor/customer premises.

- Manage Deliveries (Inbound and Outbound)

Enable :

- Develop and maintain effective logistics system on domestic and international routes as per business needs

- Plan routes and load scheduling for multi-drop deliveries

- Ensure proper planning and arrangement of the logistics for dispatch of materials, stock transfers, returns, receipt of materials and ensure cost effective transportation of materials

- Perform benchmarking and scouting within the logistic providers market with best in class logistics processes and services

- Ensure lowest logistics cost by effective negotiation skills

- Confront climate change issues by implementing transport strategies and monitoring an organization's carbon footprint

- Maintain effective coordination with logistics service providers and ensure timely inbound/outbound deliveries from/to vendors/distributors.

Review :

- Monitor transport costs for inbound and outbound logistics operations Control

- Ensure company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including hazardous materials

Leadership and Relationship Management :

- Provide functional guidance as and when required to the direct reportees and team members

- Monitor and evaluate performance of direct reportees and guide them in managing their performance by providing appropriate feedback

- Maintain good relations with logistics providers and escalate issues, if any

Additional Responsibilities:

- Create, manage and achieve the overall logistics department budget

- Ensure proper documentation of shipment histories and document files

- Ensure optimum utilization of logistics services to drive cost efficiencies and annual savings in logistics operations
