Job Title: Production Engineer - Miko
Job Overview :
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineer to join our dynamic team at Miko. As a Production Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the manufacturing processes of our robotic products. Your responsibilities will include optimizing production workflows, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities :
Production Process Optimization :
- Evaluate and enhance existing production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall productivity.
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline production workflows.
Quality Assurance :
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the consistent production of high-quality robotic products.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to establish and maintain quality standards.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams :
- Work closely with design and R&D teams to provide input on manufacturability and contribute to the development of new products.
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
Process Documentation :
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of production processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Train production staff on new processes and ensure adherence to established procedures.
Continuous Improvement :
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and cost.
- Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall manufacturing operations.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving :
- Investigate and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain a smooth manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with maintenance and technical support teams to address equipment and machinery issues.
Test Jig Design :
- Design and develop test jigs for electronic components, PCBs, Assemblies, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and specifications.
- Implement automation scripts to optimize testing processes and increase efficiency.
- Create comprehensive documentation for test jig designs, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and code documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of test jig configurations and changes.
- Work closely with hardware and software teams to coordinate the integration of test jigs into the overall testing infrastructure.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and product development teams to understand testing requirements and improve test coverage.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field with minimum three years of work experience.
- Proven experience in production engineering, preferably in the robotics or electronics industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and quality control.
- Proficient in CAD software and familiarity with manufacturing software systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working in diverse, multicultural environments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally frequently.
