KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Overseeing all flour production activities

- Have strong Knowledge of Buhler

- Ensure efficient operation of mill to maximize wheat extraction rates while maintaining quality standards.

- Meet company objectives and mill goals for extraction, operation efficiency etc.

- Coordinate plant preventive maintenance and repairing with maintenance and Engineering Manager.

- Coordinate with Quality team and has to formulate wheat blends and additives formulation to produce flour at economic value and of better quality.

- Raising timely requisitions and ordering of tools, spare parts and materials needed for flour production

- Providing leadership to all employees within the milling department by establishing and communicating expectations, providing clear instructions and coordinating all production and delivery scheduling

- Providing information and recommendations to upper management related to flour production and related cost reduction opportunities

- Maintaining all required records and documentation related to production, raw material inventory and material usage.

- Understanding and ensuring compliance with all environmental and flour production regulations and policies

- Monitor the production equipment, assuring its standards operations;

- Assure product safety and plant hygiene and general cleaning;

- Training and develop staff / team

- Monitoring the production practices and setting the schedules as required

- Developing and evaluating the efficiency of all related standard operating procedures and training

Other Skills and Requirements: -

- Deep knowledge of milling process and producing various types of flour

- Deep knowledge of mill design, machinery and equipment, electrical and electronic control systems

- Exemplary attention to detail, leadership, organizational, multi- tasking, problem solving, interpersonal, communication and analytical skills

- Strong knowledge of production process (product, process and packaging);

- Good knowledge of equipment maintenance;

- Proficiency in Microsoft Work suites and experience in ERP Systems

- Fluent in English or Portuguese language. Both is an advantage;

- High ability of planning and organization;

- Requires working in day time hours along with responsibility to support 24 hour production environment. Must be willing to take after hours calls and respond to issues as needed.
