Motor Control Application Engineer - Electric Vehicle Startup (1-3 yrs)

The first product is an electric two-wheeler that will improve the day-to-day lives of people.
Key Responsibilities :
- You will derive verification and validation criteria for software and system requirements and participate in customer meetings to support discussions about Technical Safety Concepts (TSC) of the software development (on demand).
- You will also derive the models/system equations/parameters from experimental data of vehicle/eMachine test benches by using machine learning methods
- Writing the tests specification, implementing test cases/executing the test cases of peer functions will be a part of this role in addition to reviewing test specifications and test results from software testing
- You shall validate the developed functions in digital platforms (MIL/SIL/Integrated SIL/HIL), analyze plus track the issues of SW and change requirements and work closely with the function responsible to troubleshoot software and system issues from the vehicle and HIL/SIL testing. You will also need to support the Project Management Office during the request for quotation (RFQ) concerning Motor Control-related topics.
Ideal Candidate :
- You must possess a relevant qualification (BE / B.Tech /ME/MS in ECE) and good experience in the embedded software domain with work exposure to low-level drivers software development, validation, debugging & troubleshooting.
- You should have working experience of software and system development inline Automotive Functional Safety with a deeper understanding of ISO26262 standards, BLDC and PMSM motor control and experience in Real-Time Operating System, digital/analog hardware debugging.
- Expert knowledge of Embedded-C, microcontrollers, multi-core architecture and SW Architecture development according to ISO26262 is a requirement for this role. You should also have a thorough understanding of ASPICE guidelines and their implementation details in the overall Software Development Life Cycle.
- You should be able to actively participate in knowledge management initiatives within the team/group/department, be a quick learner and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
